Startups
Zebras Hub is seeking innovative startups, particularly those conceptualised by seasoned industry professionals possessing firsthand knowledge of products or services with potential for improvement or addressing an existing market gap.
We recognise that despite possessing industry expertise, individuals may lack the requisite skills and experience to initiate a startup venture. In this regard, Zebras Hub serves as a valuable resource, removing the stumbling blocks of creating a technical and administrative team and providing financial backing. This allows entrepreneurs to focus on their core strengths and expertise, maximising their potential effectiveness.
Furthermore, as a community of startups, Zebras Hub fosters collaboration, enabling entrepreneurs to benefit from collective experience and insights. This collaborative approach significantly enhances the prospects of success for individual projects.

Are you experienced?

-
Do you have industry contacts?
Are you networked into your industry and have you got contacts that will be able to help with the launch of your business?
-
Is your business needed?

If the answer is yes to all the above then you are right for Zebras Hub and you should contact us.
What makes Zebras Hub unique in its proposition compared to other incubators is that we offer the full suite of staff to develop and operate your business leaving you to concentrate on your core skills.
Of course, you might not need all of our services as part of your team might have the skillset needed. But it is essential that the Zebras Hub team is aware of all the aspects of your business in case they need to jump in and help.
The Zebras Hub process
The Zebras Hub evaluation process is structured to efficiently assess business ideas for compatibility with our organisational ethos and community. Founders constitute a crucial aspect of this assessment, with honesty, realism, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit serving as primary criteria for evaluation. While we acknowledge that not every business idea is polished or ready to go but your commitment to creating a business aligned with the values of the Zebra Company is paramount to our evaluation process.
Step 1 – Introducing yourself
The first step in the process is introducing yourself to Zebras Hub. Ideally the introduction would be done by someone already in the Zebras Hub community but if you don’t know anyone at Zebras Hub then you simply have to send us an email with:
- A short summary of your business proposition.
- Any business plan or deck you might have already prepared.
- Your LinkedIn profile.
Step 2 – First meeting
If we decide to take your idea further we will arrange a first meeting. During this meeting, we will discuss your idea and get to know you. It is important that at this meeting you tell us where you are at with your business idea and what are your current limitations/challenges.
Step 3 – Zebras Hub assesment
Once we have had our meeting and decide to take this further we will do a full assessment of your business, business plan and product development. This is where you will need to show your commitment to the business as this process will incur a cost to you as you will have to pay for our experts’ time. Of course the more you have done the less this will cost and you will be given a full estimate before proceeding.
The outcome of this expert assessment will either result in us proceeding or deciding to stop. If we do decide that this is not for Zebras Hub then we will give you all our documents so that you can use them to approach other investment firms.
Just to give you a rough idea of what this might cost, it will range between £1,000 and £10,000 depending on how much work our experts need to do to make a realistic assessment.
Step 4 – Go ahead
If we both decide to go ahead after the assessment then we will sign off all the legal framework and you will be introduced to the team that will be working on your business.
